This site is my portal to the internet. My interests vary from life out here on my little farm and the projects I might work on, to the effects of our sun on the planet we live on. I am a amateur photographer with an interest in the local nature and wildlife of the area where I live. This six and a half acres of South Central Texas Hill Country has been my home for the last 29 yrs. I cleared just enough area to live on and the rest is natively wild, call it my version of ‘zero scape’. On 1 January, 2010 I officially retired after 8 years as a Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy and 22years as a Building Equipment Mechanic in the U.S. Postal Service. Since that time I have been out here full time on Cedarknot Farm with my cats, chickens and all the other creatures that habit this place.
